52.Reimagining Foundational Stage Education through Innovative, Child-Centred Pedagogies
Mudang Ankha, Dr. Narender Singh
Early childhood education (ages 3-8) lays the groundwork for lifelong learning, but traditional teaching methods can stifle curiosity and growth. This conceptual paper explores child-centered approaches that focus on play, exploration, and individual development, moving away from rigid curricula. Based on Piaget and Vygotsky’s theories, these methods use activity-based learning, storytelling, and multisensory experiences to develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Innovations include flexible learning spaces, peer collaboration, and technology-integrated tools that cater to different learning paces. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 supports a 5+3+3+4 structure, emphasizing play-based learning, multilingualism (mother tongue instruction until Grade 5), and competency-based progression, aiming for universal foundational literacy and numeracy by 2025. Strategies involve trained teachers, engaging classrooms, and community partnerships, using tools like digital storybooks and parental engagement apps. This approach promotes equitable education, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and resilience from an early age, aligning with NEP 2020’s vision of “rooted yet global.”

Teacher Attitudes and Classroom Strategies for Celebrating the Uniqueness of Students with Down Syndrome
Mr. Dinesh Kumar Bindal, Dr. Harikrishnan M
Divyanshu Yashraj
This paper investigates teacher attitudes and classroom strategies that foster the recognition and celebration of the individuality and strengths of students with Down syndrome within inclusive educational settings. Grounded in the principles of inclusive education and social justice, the study seeks to understand how teachers’ beliefs, knowledge, and pedagogical practices influence the educational and social experiences of learners with Down syndrome. Emphasis is placed on moving beyond deficit-based perspectives toward an approach that values diversity and individual differences as assets within the classroom.
A mixed-methods research design was employed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon. Quantitative data were collected through a structured survey administered to 120 teachers working in inclusive classrooms across primary and secondary school levels. The survey assessed teacher attitudes toward inclusion, knowledge of Down syndrome, confidence in adapting instruction, and perceptions of student participation. To complement these findings, qualitative data were gathered through semi-structured interviews with 12 teachers, allowing for in-depth exploration of personal experiences, challenges, and effective practices. Additionally, classroom observations were conducted in eight inclusive classrooms to document instructional strategies, teacher-student interactions, peer relationships, and the overall classroom climate.
The findings reveal that teachers who demonstrate positive attitudes toward inclusion and possess a strong understanding of the learning characteristics ofstudents with Down syndrome are more likely to implement effective and inclusive instructional strategies. Such teachers tend to view students with Down syndrome as capable learners and active participants rather than as limitations to classroom progress. Professional development emerged as a critical factor, with teachers who had received targeted training in inclusive education reporting greater confidence, flexibility, and creativity in meeting diverse learning needs. Collaborative classroom practices, including cooperative learning, peer tutoring, and group-based activities, were found to significantly enhance social inclusion and peer acceptance. These practices created opportunities for meaningful interaction, reduced social isolation, and promoted mutual respect among students. Curricular adaptations such as differentiated instruction, use of visual supports, simplified language, hands-on learning materials, and flexible assessment methods were associated with higher levels of academic engagement and task completion among students with Down syndrome. Observations further indicated that classrooms characterized by supportive teacher behavior and inclusive norms fostered positive self-concept, confidence, and motivation in these learners.
The study also highlights challenges faced by teachers, including limited resources, time constraints, large class sizes, and insufficient institutional support. Despite these challenges, many teachers demonstrated innovative strategies and a strong commitment to inclusive practices when supported by collaborative school cultures and administrative encouragement.
In conclusion, the study underscores the pivotal role of teachers in shaping inclusive educational environments that recognize and celebrate the uniqueness of students with Down syndrome. Positive teacher attitudes, continuous professional development, collaborative teaching approaches, and thoughtful curricular adaptations collectively contribute to improved academic participation, social inclusion, and self-esteem of students with Down syndrome. Based on these findings, the paper offers practical recommendations for teacher education programs, educational policy, and classroom-level interventions. These include integrating inclusive education modules into pre-service and in-service training, promoting team teaching and peer support models, ensuring access to adaptive resources, and fostering school policies that value diversity and inclusion. By adopting these measures, schools can move closer to creating equitable learning environments where all students are valued and supported to reach their full potential

57.Reframing Disability: Representation of Women with Disabilities in Contemporary Indian Media
Sanya Agrawal
The portrayal of women with disabilities in Indian media plays a crucial role in shaping societal attitudes, cultural perceptions, and discourses of inclusion. While visibility has increased in recent years, representation often remains constrained by stereotypes that limit disabled women’s agency and social participation. This study examines the contemporary landscape of media representation and evaluates its influence on public perception and the empowerment of women with disabilities, with particular emphasis on the significance of positive role models.
The research seeks to identify representational barriers, structural challenges, and socio-cultural factors that restrict the visibility and involvement of disabled women in Indian media. Adopting a mixed-method approach, the study integrates critical review of literature, qualitative and quantitative analysis of media depictions, and interviews with women with disabilities. By combining textual analysis with lived experience, the study highlights the need for inclusive storytelling and participatory representation.

61.The Emerging Trends of Digital Education for Prospective Teachers in the Present Scenario
Pranab Barman, Dr. Mukesh Kumar
The 21st century is the era of digitalisation in every sector, especially in educational institutions. The use of technology is not new, but its need and demand have been growing in recent times for quality education. It is true that technology is not a choice, it has become a compulsion. The National Education Policy 2020 addressed the important role of technology for improving multiple aspects of education, also quoted in “Extensive use of technology in teaching learning process. The objective of this study is to explore the emerging trends of Digital education that are shaping the preparation of prospective teachers in the current scenario. The study is conducted entirely based on the documentary method. The importance of digitalisation, particularly in information and communication technology, in education is increasingly being recognised in policy development. The National Education Policy 2020 has emphasised the re-establishment ofteachers at different levels of education; hence, the Government of India continues to develop initiatives like SWAYAM, DIKSHA, and NISTHA for the professional development of teachers and encourages a large number of teachers to undertake quality online training programs. In this regard, for the better implementation of policy recommendations, prospective teachers should develop their awareness and perspectives on digital learning.

64. Artificial Intelligence and Mathematics Learning: Insights from a Systematic Literature Review
Prof. (Dr.) Vinod Kumar Kanvaria, Twinkle Srivastava
More educators, researchers and policymakers are now interested in using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education, especially in mathematics. It looks into how Al tools affect mathematics performance in India and similarly in other places. The review includes 76 studies and reports on factors influencing biodiversity, published between 2005 and 2024, with the help of the PRISMA framework. Important topics investigated are adoption patterns, learning results, opinions from people involved, equity and access and the effectiveness of designs such as the Solomon Four-Group model. Although Al holds great promise in boosting mathematics teaching with personalized strategies and instant diagnostics, infrastructure differences, inadequate digital knowledge and ethical issues are still a problem. The review ends by suggesting strategies for implementing Al in mathematics that are respectful, fair and ethical.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:

68. Artificial Intelligence and Human Creativity: A Collaborative or Inhibitory Relationship
Prof. Shilpi Kumari, Mr. Bhanu Pratap Rana, Dr. Mayank Tripathi
Abstract:
Something strange happens when machines start painting, diagnosing, teaching. A look through over 120 academic papers from 2010 to 2025 shows AI slipping into creative spaces once thought safe from code. Refik Anadol turns city noise into swirling visuals, while Hugh Herr builds legs that move like living limbs, each motion shaped by algorithms. Then there’s the fake Rembrandt, painted by software studying centuries of brushwork. These examples sit uneasily. Tools speed things up, open doors for amateurs, stretch what feels possible. Yet hands grow idle, thinking grows thin, questions about who made what linger without answers. Creativity gains reach but loses grip. Machines help until they are needed. Moments of invention now carry invisible strings. Surprise appears where logic ends. Not every leap forward lands softly. Picture this: creativity grows when people guide AI with care, yet shrinks if they hand over control without question. What matters most sits quietly beneath the surface knowing where Al’s limits begin, staying involved every step, thinking deeply about each choice made.Implications for practice or policy:
Start with hands-on drawing before any software enters the room. When sketching becomes routine, then bring in digital helpers. Creativity first, machines later. A blank page teaches more than a screen ever could. Only after ideas flow freely should code-assisted tools appear. Skills grow from struggle, not shortcuts. Let pencils wear down before pixels arrive.
Clear rules around artificial intelligence help organizations guide staff on skills plus moral choices. When workplaces lay out expectations, people learn how machines work while understanding right from wrong. Training becomes meaningful once values shape each step forward. Rules aren’t just about code – they reflect judgment woven into daily tasks. Decisions gain clarity when boundaries exist from the start.
Starting fresh each time, creators might lean on artificial intelligence to spark ideas or wander through options yet they still hold control when choosing what stays. A tool appears here not as a leader but a helper, one that offers paths without deciding which path wins. Even with machines chiming in, judgment remains human-shaped, guided by instinct more than code. Decisions land where they always have: in hands trained by experience, not algorithms.
Who gets credit when AI helps make something? Rules are unclear now. A fresh look at ownership feels overdue. Creators need clear lines on who owns what. Right now it is messy. When machines help write, draw, or compose, someone must define control. Laws haven’t kept up. Clarity would help everyone move forward without confusion. Fairness depends on smart updates to old systems.
True understanding should shape how we judge work, not just what machines produce. Ways of checking progress need to shift, focusing on original thought rather than copied answers. Real effort deserves recognition, so methods must change to see who truly learns. Instead of accepting quick results, tests might look deeper into how ideas form. Learning grows differently in people, which means scoring shouldn’t follow a single path.
